J. Cooper Trent, II

Background

Cooper Trent was born and raised in Athens, Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama and was a member of Jasons, SGA Senate, ODK, and the Kappa Alpha Order. While working in Birmingham, he received his Juris Doctorate from the Birmingham School of Law and entered into private practice specializing in general civil litigation.  

After moving to Mobile, Cooper Trent and Associates, LLC was formed. He currently serves as a consultant for the Mobile Airport Authority and Gulf Distributing Holdings, LLC.

 

Most recently, Cooper has teamed up with Windom, Galliher and Associates to advocate for clients in Montgomery. In addition, he has served as an advisor on numerous local and statewide campaigns. 

Cooper is also a professional musician (piano/vocals) and has enriched lives across the Southeast and abroad. Cooper creates a connectivity with his audience that leaves a memorable experience.

 

Cooper is a member of the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Foundation Board of Trustees, the Order of Fuse, and a graduate of Alabama Leadership Initiative. He is married to Catie (Bell) Trent of Mobile and have two children, Louise and Cooper. They attend Dauphin Way United Methodist Church. Outside of work, Cooper enjoys music, the outdoors, and cooking.
